A street called Alcade Jacinto takes you up to the church of Santa Maria with the history of Jojocar written on an unusual monument of an Arabic woman in traditional dress.

Nightlife in Mojacar
The liveliest nightlife is down on the promenade near the sea front. In general nightlife is quite low key and suitable for families with young children. There are a couple of nightclubs that stay open until the early hours of the morning. There are however, plenty of charming tapas bars and restaurants to choose from.
