Overview

The Aqua Blu Resort Hotel is a family orientated four-star all inclusive resort situated behind the Beach Albatros Hotel Hurghada and only minutes from the Red Sea. You can walk the 700 metres to the beach or there is a regular free shuttle bus to and from the beach. Hurghada city centre is 20 minutes drive from the Aqua Blu Hotel.

The Hotel Aqua Blu’s 360 guestrooms are housed in three-storey buildings that are set in well kept gardens. All rooms have air conditioning, satellite television and open out onto a spacious balcony or terrace. The Aqua Blu also has a number of larger family rooms which can accommodate up to six people.

There is a daily activity program hosted by the hotel recreation staff which features a variety of social and fitness activities that vary day to day. Guests can also relax in the lush tropical gardens, swim in the pool or take a stroll on the beach and perhaps a dip in the crystal clear sea.

Children are also well provided for with their own adventure playground, swimming pool and kids club which should keep them entertained throughout the day. If you are feeling energetic you can play tennis, mini golf, ping pong, or go for a work out in the gym. In addition to the swimming pools there are also four giant waterslides providing an exhilarating thrill for both children and adults alike.

Alternatively, indulge yourself in the Aqua Blu Resort’s wellness centre which offers a varied menu of massages and health treatments to rejuvenate body and mind. Entertainment spices up in the evening with a variety of cabaret and dance shows and a disco which is a popular night spot for young people.

This hotel will appeal to couples and families looking for a good standard of all inclusive accommodation in the Hurghada area. The beach is easily accessible so you can enjoy all the Red Sea has to offer, and there are plenty of onsite activities and entertainment suitable for all age groups.

Swimming pools

The hotel has four swimming pools including a wave pool (one is heated in winter), a separate children’s pool and four giant waterslides. Free sunbeds and towels are available around the swimming pools.

Eating and drinking

This all inclusive Hurghada hotel has a variety of options when it comes to wining and dining. The Karkadiah Restaurant is the hotels main restaurant and offers Egyptian and international specialties, buffet style. It opens for breakfast between 7am and 10am, late continental breakfast between 10am and 11am, lunch from 12.30pm to 2.30pm and dinner from 6.30pm to 9.30pm. The La Plage Restaurant (beach bar) serves drinks from 10am to 6pm during summer, and from 10am to 5pm during the winter. Snacks for lunch are offered daily from 12.30pm to 2.30pm. There are also two further restaurants available on the AI plan which open for dinner between 6.30pm and 9.30pm. Alfredos serves buffet style Italian cuisine whilst the Mandarin Restaurant serves buffet style Chinese cuisine. For refreshments there is the Aqua Bar (which also serves snacks), the Cubana Bar and the 24 hour lobby bar (AI concept till midnight only).

The hotels all inclusive programme includes breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner, all local alcoholic beers, wines and spirits and soft drinks, tea and coffee from 10am until midnight and ice cream and popcorn for children from midday to 8pm. Premium drinks and drinks after midnight in the bar and disco are not included in the All Inclusive option.
