Another popular attraction in Santo Domingo is the Bontanical Gardens. Covering around 2 million square metres, this immense park is meticulously maintained and features many rare speices of flora and fauna. With a whole area dedicated to palm trees, and a brilliant Japanese garden, the park is considered one of the best of its type in the world.
