The popular ski resort of St Johann is situated in Tyrol, the Kitzbuhel district of Austria. Lying riverside in a valley basin between the mountain range of the Wilder Kaiser, the region is rich in history. First occupied by Celtic tribes in 4BC, it was later conquered by Roman invasion.
